I was given a Pioneer powered subwoofer, s-fcrw720-s. The amp has some bad power caps and other damaged parts. The driver is in good shape, but it's an oddball.

The woofer is 2074A and 28 ohms! I'd like to just throw a new plate amplifier in it but I'm not sure what to get to drive this speaker. Any suggestions other than an the original factory type replacement? By the size of the speaker magnate and some of the components on the amp, I'm estimating the woofer to be about 100W rms, or so.

I know this thing isn't particularly valuable or really worth saving unless there is a cheap option out there.

Thanks for your suggestions...
