Hi, I am looking for someone that works for a Pioneer repair centre that would be willing to sell a mainboard for a Mk1 D9 CDP. My friend contacted a shop but they insisted he sent off his machine to check. I can confirm that a new board is needed as I replaced it with mine from the same machine and it worked fine. We dont think they will be too sypathetic as it bares no resemblence to the original! Lets just say its been modified..... a bit.... 😉 We figure its kinda pointless paying loads of money for postage and risk getting it damaged when we know a new board will fix it, there isnt enough of the old 1 left to even output a signal anyway now that we have removed the valves.. 😱
I know its a long shot but its worth a post so there it is......
Many thanks.

Try asking as a special order,
CHS - replacement remote controls, instruction manuals, audio & video accessories, electronic components & spare parts
http://www.chsinteractive.co.uk/brands.html
who I think are still an authorised Pioneer spares distributor.
I used to do all the spares ordering for a very large service dept and what I can tell you is if and I say if, it is even available as a spares item the price will be horrific... it's how manufacturers make the money.
I would guess at around £250 ish... but who knows... sometimes you can be surprised 🙂
