Pioneer PD5100 Tracking Fault

I took pity on a PD5100 CD player I found in a heap of garden rubbish while out walking the dog, it was utterly filthy, soaking wet and full of earwigs and spiders. Have sorted out a few issues on it and given it a good clean up but there is still a rather major fault with it, the motor that drives the pickup head tracking doesn't move. There's nothing wrong with the motor of the mechanism as with an external power source I can get it to move back and forth. The drive motor is connected to a TA8410K dual op amp chip and when there is no load on the output I get 8V at the motor pinout, when I connect the motor I get 0.1V, I am wondering if this chip has died, or whether the over current feature is activating. All the support components for the chip seem ok and have the correct values including ESR. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to the likelyhood of this being the issue, or a service manual for this beasty.
