Pioneer GM-A5602 Hissing

I have a Pioneer GM-A5602 and it has started hissing very audibly and no power light or output comes on. Before this happened it was in protection mode, the power light would blink continuously. What could be the issue, and what are some possible solutions?

Have you confirmed that the 12v/ground supply to the amp is as it should be?

If so, the most common reason for an amp to go into protect is shorted outputs.

Yes, I even reseated the ground, was getting 14.53v to the amp. I unhooked it and ohm'd out the transistors I guess they are, and 4 out of the 6 smaller ones read real close to zero which leads me believe they are shorted.
