Hi all. I need help with my new 80PRS Automatic Sound Levelizer.
What a gr8 HU this is! But I have a big problem.
If I turn on the ASL to Mid or higer, it picks up my subwoofer. It then increases the volume and pics up the sub more. Kind of a snow ball effect!
Anything lower than Mid on the ASL setting, and the sound does not levelize enough to my liking.
If I turn the sub down verry low, the ASL works like a dream!
There is no rattles in my car. What can I do?? Please help!

What's the source of the noise that requires the use of the ASL?
Its just normal road noise and wind noise. When I speed up it goes perfectly louder, and on better roads and at robots, is turnes down ( withoud the sub it works nice like this) .
I dont have the worlds best car, but its very good stil. I have an VW Polo Vivo. Its a South African car, so the rest of the world will know it as an 9N3 polo, but with a Polo 6R engine, mirrors, seats , ect.
I have noticed on my way back from work today, that if the mids and hight is loud, and the sub ; ASL does not pic up the sub.
Any help pleas
Can you move the microphone to a place where the wind or road noise is greatest so that you can set the sensitivity lower?
No I cannot realy as the noise is everywhere and the mic must be close to my head to use the bluetooth phone. Any other advice? Can you move the microphone to a place where the wind or road noise is greatest so that you can set the sensitivity lower?
