I am running 2 ESS AMT1 Heils on front channels of an old Pioneer 4 channel QX8000A tuner amp it has controls for seperate bass treb controls for front and rear. I used to run 4 ESS speakers of which I sold to two of them. Can I bridge rear channels safely and run a sub woofer for better base from this amp or will I hurt the amp. ESS speakers I have lack deep base bass but have great high end. Have owned system since new and don't want to wreck it. Thanks for any help. New to forum and if wrong section please let me know. 😕
Pioneer amplifiers have traditionally been pretty good. Try it.
