It´s a very common contrail, plane went from left to right, it´s no longer in the picture frame, it´s condensing water vapor from a hydrocarbon fuel powered object ... hence a plane.
Neither meteorites nor UFOs burn kerosene.
In Cal´s pictures, left trail shows standard (water droplets) condensation, the rocket trail at right has solid fuel (typically Ammonium Perchlorate as oxydizer + some kind of Polymer as fuel) and most probably solid particles, that´s why it´s so dense and long lasting.
Oh, and atmosphere is actually *quite* turbulent.

At my age, JMF, I really don't give a flying f*ck! 😀
Lol. A fellow old Scott, Stan from Alba fishing rods (makes big game rods), has firm views on that.
The Irish Picts will be claiming Scotland next, closely followed by the French/dutch before the oceans rose and the channel flooded the channel and Dogger Bank fishing grounds..
Cal's Red Arrow pic does not show a contrail. It's display smoke generated by spraying a smoke liquid into the end of the jet pipe. Red Arrows aircraft are fitted to generate red, white or blue smoke selectable by the pilot.
