Hi
I have a very non-hifi problem:
I would like to use hornresp to simulate the response of an "bare" piezo-element attached to a resonant-chamber.
I can model the chamber in hornresp, but I cannot figure out how to model a naked piezo-disc as a driver in HR.
(Side-note: I get sooo impressed everytime I use HR. What a tool to have!)
Any ideas?
Kind regards TroelsM

In order to get the T/S parameters I think you'll need to measure Vas. That doesn't sound easy. Maybe your enclosure isn't very sensitive to the driver and you could make some guesses.
Piezos don't follow the typical input parameters - they're capacitive, rather than inductive.
That said, it might be possible if you make use of the passive crossover section.
Piezo transducers are still a motor with a diaphragm, though, so it seems perfectly feasible to me. The added mass method would be the way to go IMO.
