macaronaroni: Do you have any info on the board for this lcd? Or do you still have contact with the person who sold you yours? I have a very similar lcd that does only 800*600 and I really want to use it!
Thanks

I'd bet VM is close. I have yet to find a quality LCD without a ribbon cable. All of the LCD's I see and like... have a ribbon cable.

i believe this post has been greatly overlooked, you guys are just brushing off this lcd as nothing special when i am telling you a blind man with arthritis could dissassemble this lcd in 5 seconds and not have to worry about damaging it, what a shame, shame shame😱

I think you're a little off about people overlooking this LCD, we just need more info about it before we can get really excited about it. Unfortunately there is no easy way to measure response time or contrast ratio, those are both done in labs with lots of expensive equipment, and even then, the companies will usually fudge the numbers a little to make their product sell better. I am really interested in your LCD setup and would love to see more pics as your project progresses. My only question is, have you tested projecting with it yet? 😎

The LCD sounds great, but what ghetto said is completly true. I'm sure lots of people would love to get their hands one one of these LCDs. But currently, we don't know the contrast ratio or response time, not to mention the fact that there is no known supplier of the LCD or controller.
