Pyle PFA200 60 watt T-Amp

Picked this guy up for fun, just to see what it would do compared to the lepai I had. Both look identical almost, apart from color, and the 3.5mm in the front and 1/4in jack in the back. I'm kind of getting addicted to these little amps, they're cheap and fun!

I noticed the capacitor on the lepai (i believe for the power input) is like 2200uh and the pyle is 3300uh but the lepai sounds super quite compared to the Lepai. Also, I noticed the Petentiometer is 50k (like the bass and treble) and not 25k like the lepai. Could this be the cause?

Also the thing looks dirtier on the inside than the lepai, the soldering and all.

Here's the pics

Pyle vs Lepei

I think you were trying to make the distinction between the two amps as to one being quieter than the other. However, your message I think is trying to say the Pyle is noisier.

The only sure fire way to tell if varying the components makes a difference is to check the schematic. If the circuits are identical - then your speculation may have foundation.
