Pi Filter for A75

I was wondering how you calculate the inductor needed, and how much capacitance you need to have on either side. I was thinking of using 60mF-2mH-60mF per rail. Sound OK?

by 60 mF, I assume you mean 60,000 uF, in which
case your values will work great.

That's it exactly! Thanks for the help, yet again. I have always wondered why nobody uses millifarads for these giant caps instead of x000µF.

A-75 PI filter

I'm sure that someone here could help you out with it, but I don't want to give advice that may be wrong. I based my values on what caps I could find that were somewhat affordable in computer grade, and what I have read on other posts. My post was more of a verification of values that I thought would work. I would have liked to have known what the formula is for it, but I didn't get any response for how you go about determining the values. I'm sure it's in one of my electronics books, but I have yet to run across it. Nelson saying that it would work is good enough for me! Have you ever seen so much written to say that someone knows so little, ha ha. Sorry I can't help.
