Physical format: CD's still outselling vinyl

The RIAA has some interesting info and good interactive graphs. Here is an example.

Well, after doing some research after my post above, I thought you might be using an Okto Research DC8 Pro (also here from Kal Rubinson, who is also a multichannel SACD enthusiast). The DAC8 Pro looks to be directly marketed by order only, however. That might solve my own issues. I'd like to get around the DAC SINAD issues in available AVPs (about 20 dB of noise floor difference with typical USB DACs nowadays)--not that it's all that audible, but it does bring a very slight audible veil over something like a Topping stereo USB DAC.

Here is what I found with DSD over HDMI. It's the available PC-based HDMI ports themselves. This turns out to be a legal issue: the legal profession has apparently locked up HDMI. Too bad.
