PHY or Fertin in a TL?

Try it out and let your ears judge.
Build a TL and an open baffle and listen to both for some days. Then decide.

Yes, TL is possible with the Fertin. But, do not ask me how a TL is dimensioned, ask the TL gurus here, planet10 is one of them. I never made it to a TL, i fell in lover with open baffle before i fell in love with the Fertins.

You've seen the pictures, so you can imagine the size.
I measured Triangles response in my baffle and they roll down around 140Hz, no equalization.
Both woofers' measured in room frequency roll-off is -3db at 25Hz, again no equalization, except for low pass filter at 100Hz (18dB slope, electronic crossover). Those result puzzle me a bit too, maybe it's a room acoustic or maybe the sloped pedestal for the woofers. I can't complain though, because I prefer not to use any extra equalization or big baffles. My point again, the baffle DOESN'T always has to be big.:)
 
Call me lazy. I just want the next speaker I build to last me for a long long time. I don't have enough time to be building a bunch of different cabinets, and trying out a bunch of different drivers. And it can be expensive as well.

I'm trying to pick everyones brains to figure out what is (most likely) to make me happy.

you may well be right. My speaker however is meant to be a hermaphrodite.
Option 1:
the Fertin runs FR, no EQ. Low end VERY slender.
Option 2:
The Fertin runs from 120Hz northwards. EQ slope 18dB/octave.
The dual Beyma runs from 120Hz souttwards. 18dB/octave, overlayed with baffle EQ of 6dB/octave and a corner frequency of 20-25Hz. Serious low end then.

Talking hot air right now :), will have to see/hear how this comes out.
