Hi all, I’m new to the Audio world, please forgive silly questions for a while!
I want to use P-Audio PHT-407N for a project - for many reasons including having a few sat on my desk right now…
However I want to simulate my crossover design, but I am struggling to find all the details I need to simulate this in WinISD.
I’m sure the data is available, I just can’t find it.
Please could someone point me in the right direction/or share their files so I can simulate my own designs.
Note I've found it's data sheet on but it seems to be very vague e.g. missing smax readings etc.
TIA!

AllenB thanks for the reply.
So when entering a new driver on winisd they ask for lots of parameters. All the tutorials I've said have said it's required as is usually the first one they enter?
What do you know what the minimum parameters I need to get a fairly accurate few response?
TIA

I know.. but I need to know the driver's characteristics todo this...
Simply simulating a 1st order filter won't tell me much without the specific speaker's responses.
If that makes sense
Also after the filter I want to do all the enclosure calculations too, so ill need all the characteristics …

This is the data sheet for the PHT-407N tweeter. There is a response plot, you can begin with that. You don't need any enclosure details, it should have its own enclosure.
You may have to measure the impedance yourself.
You may have to measure the impedance yourself.
Needs or wants? I still maintain that none of it is important to the task at hand. A program like this couldn't even estimate the impedance for you because the driver is on a horn. Have you used Xsim?the details this software needs...
