Here is my 76-1626 'Darling' amp. I opted to use the #76 to drive the 1626.
*Power via a Hammond 269GX with Cree SiC diodes for HV rectification. Nichicon UPW low-impedance electrolytics and Panasonic EZP film caps in the power supply.
*Resistors are all Vishay/Dale RN, CMF, or CPF metal films.
*Cathode bypass via Elna Silmic II.
*Coupling caps are NOS Russian SSG silver mica.
*Output transformers are Transcendar 'budget' model.
Sounds incredible. Bass is articulate and not at all rolled-off. Mids and highs are crisp, clean, and detailed. Actually seems tighter and clearer all around than my Welborne Labs Laurel II that are sneaking into the edges of the pictures.

Great letter chose very 1970 futuristic .
It's a Bottlehead Stereomour top plate, CLCRC power supply with 100Uf/100Uf/70Uf (oil) for the power supply. A 10H choke and the last 100 is bypassed with the 10Uf Obbligato film/oils above the 70Uf's. The parafeed caps are 10Uf Obbligato golds, the cathode bypasses are 350Uf Jensens, 15Uf Solen's across the 45's heater pins, 3.3 Uf Obbligatos on the grid chokes and a 0.01Uf on the PS input. I think that's all of them, there may be some more buried under stuff that I forgot. It's crowded but sounds great. I've got a simpler version for a 300b on breadboard now.
Yes, that 6922 bit the dust. It took a nose dive from the shelf after being pulled from service.

I've lurked forever so I thought it's time to put up some photos of my amp. The amp in the picture is a 45 parafeed SET. The underside is just a mess of caps.
In the first picture. Is that the white album?
Spent my birthday money on an Elekit TU-2100 amp and a set of Fostex Kanspea P1000 speakers with the FF105WK drivers. I've got the speakers breaking in on my K12G while I build the Elekit.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
This is a long time project but I'm getting there. This will be a PP amp transformer coupled. 6N23P parallel driver, 6BG6GA outputs.
The component placement shown is FYI, nothing is mounted. The front area will be an aluminum plate for the tubes.

What are you using for the framework?

I've seen this stuff before and I'd also like to know what it is.
