I put the circuit into LTSpice and ran a sim to check the RIAA error. I my limited experience it looks quite good. Not up to my HPA5.1 standard but I have seen much worse -

Ironically the Chinese copy-cats made the same fault as Tim de Paravicini.
The tubes are starving from current resulting in harsh sound.

I corrected that and had also a look at Jim Hagerman's Cornet 3.

My phonostage sounds very good now! 🙂

I totally agree - thieves must be brought to the Justice
I do totally agree, someone should sue Chinese for theft of 40 years old JC-2 schematic but the problem is that Chinese could file a countersuit against all of us for every brick produced since 4400 B.C. in violation of stolen technology invented in Chengtoushan, China during Neolitic Daxi culture. 😀
