Philips CD711: changing the op-amp

I read on the internet that the CD721 is a good CD player, that becomes even better when certain modifications are applied. One of these mods is replacing the 4560 op-amp with an AD826. I have a CD711 (the 721 without a remote - I wish I had spent the extra money 😉), and I intend to replace the op-amp. But the website didn't provide any further info about it. So my question is, can I directly replace the op-amp without modding anything else, or do I need to change other components as well? And how can I best desolder the existing op-amp?

I already replaced the standard fixed signal cable with a Van den Hul cable (and added gold-plated cinch sockets), and I was quite surprised by the improved sound quality. I hope the op-amp mod will make a similar difference 🙂.
