It was my very first decent CD player and I kept it for sentimental reasons. A few years ago the tray opener mechanism fell apart and I fixed it, now I need one or two pages from the service manual showing the analog section because on the left channel some DC voltage keeps popping up and I wouldn't risk fiddling inside with my eyes closed. So, if there is someone who has the service manual for this CD player I would really appreciate it if that someone would send me the scanned pages or the whole manual in pdf, jpg, gif, png... (whatever) so I can check where does it leak the DC voltage to the output. I know it would be simpler to simply add a capacitor to my Firstwatt F5 clone but then it wouldn't be that... Thanks for any help I can get.
...next time, I should go straight to the library, ahem... Asti Gospe, pa spiš li ti kad? 😀 Fala ti lipo. Spasija si mi život (cd je ženin pa ne da da se baci)

How to mod the philips cd614 cd player?
Recently I bought this CD player and you can see the pictures here Soomal×÷Æ· - PHILIPS ·ÉÀûÆÖ CD614 CD»ú²ð½â ͼ¼¯[Soomal¡¤ÊýÂë¶à]
My friends in Soomal shot those pictures for me.
And now I want to mod this player.
1. change the LM833 opas
2. change the analog out RCA plugs and use a BNC plug to instead the digital out RCA plug
Any thing else I can do? Is there a crystal oscillator on the motherbord? Can I replace it?
