I know it is not the best but since I have one why not try a little tweaking to improve it till I can get a better one.
I have a philips CD723 (?) CD-player... I like it more than my Crystal multi-multi super this and that evaluationboard of the 24bit 196KHz LT1028 loaded DAC ...
Then I swapped the onboard output op-amps (cheaps JCR's) with OPA2134 .... there's a real differences ... which I sometimes like and sometimes don't like..
Is this a answer? I guess not , well....
goodluck,
Thijs
