Hello diy members,
Maybe its a stupid question but i Am confused bij the little Philips AZ1880 radio.
The remotecontroll en speakers(sound)stpt working and after some surging i found a shorted capasitor on the main boerd, after that i got only audio back on the richt channel. My question is about the D8227 ic (amplifier) are the pins 1 and 3 shorted or is that not normal and this ic has gone bad?
Greetings Vosje.

BS1 and BS2 sound like biasing pins, they should behave like each other, if one is shorted to Vcc2 and the other isn't, then its definitely blown (assuming the short isn't external to the chip)
