Phase splitter and balance input

This is a question from the "I just know enough to be dangerous" world. I have an ARC push pull tube amp. It has a tube phase splitter as the first stage. Is is possible to pull the tube and just use the balanced output from my preamp to go to the next stage by running the positive and negative signals from the preamp to the splitter tube output pins.

Thanks

Without modification you would probably dump the tube B+ (several hundred volts) back into your preamp. Dangerous!

With modifications, you probably won't have enough drive from your preamp to get much output from your ARC power amp.
