I'm looking for hints and tips on designing a horn/plug combination for a cone driver (5 inch). It should have high bandwidth (no need for a tweeter or a separate midrange, 500Hz - 15kHz would be perfect) and high directivity (angles less than 50°).
It is possible, the Funktion One Resolution 1 shows that, but I can't find any information on designing a horn/plug combo as they did. I only know that the plug is connected to the pole plate and the compression chamber is as small as possible.
Does anyone have more information on designing plugs like these?
