Last Friday I went to a local theater called "Teatro Maipú" in the center of my native town, Banfield. There, two musician called Lito Vitale and Juan Carlos Baglieto gave a show, very interesting certainly, but some thing called my attention almost all the show.
Baglieto was wearing a specimen of sleeveless jacket, and in the rear of him, exits a short piece of cable at waist level. I was 6-7 metres far from him, but clearly I saw than in some circumstances, six circular pads in the order of 5-6cm in the front of the clothe can be visible depending of the lights. In some themes during their performance, he plugged a longer wire in it, and he hits softly those pads, he produced audible hits in the scenario speakers, like a percussion pad jacket.
Anybody that knows this "body instrument" can say me what is it and the name of the instrument, please.

Don't know, but electronic drums use piezo sensors, which these could easily be. They send trigger signals when hit. They trigger some sort of drum sound unit.
Thanks to this device and the sampler/looper, Juan Carlos played no less than 5 instruments at a time. An orchestra-man.
