With all due respect, shouldn't this thread be in the off topic?
BTW I thought that were the Bulls' testicles at first sight, no?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Living stones are cool, made for the person who thinks that's it's too much work watering cacti. Lithops needs almost no water.
Me too
I once asked Peranders what that avatar was, because I had the same impression like you but I did not want to tell him about this because he's a nice fellow and I was afraid to make him fell bad, but now that you mention it, yes.

OK, I knew that really, I have one on my kitchen window - a small brown one sitting amongst various cacti !!!
I will have to keep my eye open for a pink one to keep it company ...

BTW - that's a nice spread you have there, P-A.
Of course, everyone recognises my avatar ......
(actually I forget the name, but it was about 300mm across, photo taken in Madeira)

I'm glad it's not just me! I didn't want to say anything either in case it resulted in, "So, you think all these Rorschach tests look like a monkey's posterior. I think we may need to do some more tests."
The purple (actually) Lithops is L optica C289 (Cole No 289). You can buy seeds from www.mesagarden.comDRC said:
