Peerless XLS 830500 Tapped Horn

Hi,

I've recently acquired a Peerless XLS 830500 12" subwoofer driver and would like to use it in a tapped horn enclosure. I've run several simulations in Hornresp and have come to a set of figures that I believe I'm happy with (see attached image). The sub will be crossed at approximately 45Hz. How does the response of the horn look?

My only issue now is calculating the optimum way to fold the horn - any suggestions for this?

Greets!

Your driver specs are whacked, yet strangely your sim looks much better IMO using published specs, being almost identical to my default 830500 TH alignment except smaller due to yours being tuned a couple of Hz higher..........

Searching this forum will yield all the info required for a couple of ways to fold THs.

Ok. Here are corrected driver specs and some minor tweaks to the horn.

The bulk doesn't bother me - I should be able to figure the folding out myself having read a few more things.

Any comments on the current model?
