Finally I got settings of my 2.1 system in place. Gain at 2 clock and Xover 100Hz it starts to play something that you can call bass. It seems that there is still some use for these 6,5" subwoofers. 🙂
Congrats,How is the sound quality?
Yes I modelled it for a horn ended up getting flat to 30Hz at 90dBSPL 106dB max.
Wouldn't mind seeing that myself!
Nice project Veke, good to see someone working with this little driver 🙂
I have a Peerless XXLS-12 and TangBand W8-670 commercial subwoofers so Peerless SLS 6,5 ranks somewhere in the middle in sound quality. TB W8-670 enclosure is somewhat tuned to give midbass so I don't like it. SLS 6,5 goes down to about 30Hz in corner of my listening room. It's pretty limited in amount spl it gives and I have 150W of power to put in so it might burn easily. 🙂
