Peerless 830846/830842 Subs

Has anyone used either the Peerless 830846 or 830842 10" subs? I can't decide whether to use either the 830846 in a vented box or use the 830842 with a PR as per the peerless application notes.

Also has anyone built any of these subs as detailed on the Peerless website?

Any feedback on either of these subs would be appreciated.

If you choose the 830846, make sure you have the amplification that is stable into 3 ohms.

The 830842 doesn't have the same problem but does dip to 3.9 ohm so any 4 ohm stable amp would suffice.
