Hi Peter,
I've done few simulation for the high pass of the Nomex, you can have a look on my blog :
Tests de modification du filtrage de la Nomex164 - Le blog de pguerin
Unfortunately, no time to test the option 3 before two weeks !
PS :If necessary you can use google translate !
PS2 : very bad weather in Chamonix today 🙁

Hi Peter,
Any news from your tests ?
On my side i've add a 12" sub connected via high level lines of the plate amp and crossed around 50 hz (not measured yes).
Ouhah ! 😎 Very very nice result !

Hey Pascal! Must admit that I haven't tried it yet :/ First I'm going to change the Zobel capacitor to 3.3 and see it that has any effect, and also try 1/18 ohm L-pad while I'm at it. I tried comparing the slopes of my midwoofer to a 3.3 kHz LR4th order, and it actually seems to match rather well (see the pictures). (This is with the crossover completely as Troels') When I change the value to 3.3 uF I get something not really close to LR4, but it might just be what I need since it raises the output at 3.6 kHz some 4-5 dB.
Nice to hear with your subwoofer! Is it DIY? Pics!! 🙂
I also have a little subwoofer with the Peerless 830452 and a passive. Built it before the Nomex. My sub is also crossed in at 50 Hz, but haven't done any room measurements either. I live in a dorm so the level of my subwoofer is mostly decided by how must I feel like annoying my neighbors 🙂

Heres some pictures of the building process btw 🙂
- Making a curved cabinet was harder than I initially thought, and I would definitely change some things if I was to make another one. The only real stroke of genius was my way of making the cabinet tilt which proved quite easy (I got the idea from someone else, so its not really my idea 😱)

Nice work! Good to see somebody playing with these designs as i have been planning a while to do the same.
Hi Peter,
Pics from the sub coupled with the Nomex164, it's based on Atohm V60S DIY kit :

ATOHM : NOTRE BUT ULTIME ... VOUS FAIRE VIBRER
This is my second system build before the Nomex164. I use the sub also for HC coupled with the old kit audax HM210.
