Probably a date code as as far as the peerless catalogue is concerned, all part numbers have a letter prefix.

Thanksalot i was thinking the same just needed confirmation.
If it was a part number it would have been possible to find info in the internet. I did come across your pdf too.
It could be a nice transformer only way to know is tobring to someone with some measurement equipment to see if the specs are any special and then try to find an application.
