Hi, I've just got a faulty Peavey MAX115 from a friend for repair.
It shows 28.75V on LM3886 pin3 (output).
I have 3.85V on pin10 (input) and cc 35mV on the positive leg of C116.
Not familiar with IC, I guess that the LM3886 is faulty.
Any advice will be welcome,

Most likely a bad chip. CArefully remove the IC and power up without it. Are those funny voltages still present on the solder pads where the IC once was?
