Hey guy's haven't visited in a while after I broke my LCD screen. The projector has since been collecting dust for lack of money to replace the LCD screen. Since then the price has dropped on the this screen PD-186 which is a great alternative to the Lilliput if your just looking to show DVD's and don't need the VGA of the Lilliput and other options it offers. You can do a search on my other posts to find out stripping info on this LCD if your interested. Anyway here's the link.

Never bought from these people so I have no idea thier reputation.
Shipping is high at $15, but that seems to be the trend.

I got some of my caraudio setup from them,
there ok - you order it, then they order it,
and it takes some time for them to get it,
then they ship it to you - it took a month
for then to get it from china and a week
and a half to get to me - but the price was
so low it was worth the wait

they keep verry little on hand to cut
down on price

LCD resolution

I have been checking out some of the very small monitors listed on ebay and am very confused. One is a lilliput 1.8" 4:3 with a total of 116160 pixels. I have been trying to translate that into a regular W x H but have been unable to do so. There is another that is listed as 16:9 or 4:3, 896 x 230 and 206080 pixels. I can't get the numbers to come out right for this kind of ratio (16:9). I know this may be a stupid question.
thanks

Well, fry is probably the wrong word. I beleive it was due to taking it in and out of the projector too much while I was tweaking it. I'm guessing i stressed the ribbon cable too much because i started getting horizontal black bars across the screen, making it un-usable.
That's the best idea as to what happened that i could come up with.
So word to the wise, preparation, calculation, till you have it cold.

Stripping it was pretty easy until you get down to having the raw lcd screen exposed, then you have to be super careful.

I can't help you in the Canadian source area, sorry.

Just as a heads up, my research has shown two different PD-186 LCDs, one cheaper and of a lower resolution and one higher. From what I read it may have been a redesign between model years but I'm not entirely certain.
