I was wondering if its possible to mod a digital receiver like Panasonic XR-57, to receive the digital signal, pcm and clock, separately? PCM can go through SPDIF, and clock by seperate wire? Can any of the TACT digital amps can be modded for this?
It should be possible by a CDP, but what about a computer solution, like Squeezebox/USB-transport?
