The outer diameter of the hose ~ 4.2mm. Cut it to length and put it into the flange holes for the VFETs.

The nails have 1.2mm diameter, the flat connectors are 6.35mm.

Not ideal at all. These are press-in types for 1.0mm holes.

If you cannot find fitting pins, solder the wires directly through the hole...

You could use these 1.3mm soldering nails type RTM, if you redrill the holes from 1.2mm to 1.3mm. Solder them on both layers of the PCB.
