I'd be interested in hearing your comparisons.
Personally , I am waiting for McCAD's new Version 3 release which is due sometime in the next few weeks. They tell me that they have changed a lot of things and added numerous new features. We 'll see...
I thought your comment about Eagle being the MSWord equivalent was Interesting. I hate Word so maybe that may explain my own tool biases a bit. I avoid using Word as much as possible as I think there are other better tools which work better than it for certain tasks..
I guess its a bit of being a non-mainstreamer like us Mac Users.
I also would not hold out much hope for Express PCB for porting their tool. That would cost them too much money since their tool is probably not written in a portable framework. Their only interested in making boards and locking you into their facility. Mac is just too small a number of users (7% maybe) and they probably have enough customers to keep their production full. Adding Mac users probably would not make any more money for them, so they they won't do it until they have too.
Its only aguess on my part...

yes I agree about MS Word: I also hate it and is why I use Open Office (NeoOffice on OS X) but the comparison was meant more to point out that Eagle files are the lingua franca of the pcb world...and for that reason it is easier to navigate the pcb making process for a noob like me (although I used to work in the audio industry for years as an electronics technician - I always prototyped my own circuits)...
