Hi And thanks for reading this thread
What do you use as an electrical insulator for pcb solder pads.
I have a few solder pads very close together and want to insulate them to prevent a possible short. I am hoping there is a pen-like device which i can use to mark the pads, so when whatever is in the pen dries, it form a layer of insulation.
Thanks

Thanks!
There appears to be two types, an acrylic resin and a silicon resin, is there any difference between the two types?
This is the one i am thinking of purchasing: APL15ML | Electrolube transparent 15 ml Can Conformal Coating for PCBs, -55 → +125 degC | RS Components
It is a small 15 ml brush type. Any opinions?
Thanks

Hi. Been searching around but cannot find a pen type device for precise application.
Can you please recommend anything
Transparent nail-varnish used to be the favorite DIY conformal coating! I suspect it still is a perfectly viable approach, comes with handy applicator brush too.
