Hello, Does anybody know for sure what type of adhesive/glue is used in pcb construction to put the copper on the FR4 plate? I am intersted in making the board itself. Thank you!

Yeah I know it's cheap except I want to make the plate a different colour, like white or green (I know that's not how they get the green color in the boards) or something else instead of the plain brown or light yellow. So epoxy sounds right? I have to know i the glue/adhesive will react dangerously with the etchant.
Have you thought about using paint? I have made giant 7 segement dislays with 200 mm digits. Those pcb's I painted red and white.

The adhesive used is an epoxy, but not the stuff in the tubes you buy at the hobby shop. It is a partially cured ("green") sheet epoxy, activated by heat and pressure. It is not amenable to diy, unfortunately.
