Hello All

Finally Paypal cleared their restriction this evening, so everything is fine. I have requested to transfer all your money to may bank account : it should take between 3 and 5 days.

Once done, I'll pay Serjac for the JFETs, an I'll start the PCB Manufacturing process with the czech company.
We will proceed in two times:
First delivery of production samples to evaluate the quality and if there is no problem, then production of the full order (3, 4weeks), then delivery at my home (45kg of PCBs.... DHL with insurance)
and shipping back to all of you !!
The Jfets should be there by mid march.

I will be on vacations from friday noon to next monday (the 10th of march), with no internet: real vacations so !

So don't panic : I'm not taking vacations with your money.....
And I'll give you back some news on Monday 10th.

would any post some schematic of the GB UGS and BOM
all I have seen Is a preamp schematic and I don't know which from all Is our buy
on the french site there Is an error with relays pcbs
how would be here

I need to know
what are differences on UGS from the kit and simple UGS pcbs
does the simple UGS have a volume control by relays or not
how the volume control and Input selector Is realised

The Right channel motherboard has been fixed, there is no more errors in this batch.

The µController board has been modified to support various size of LCD display.

As said before :

The Simple UGS is only the UGS modules, so you have to make of your own a source selector and an attenuator. The Simple UGS need the Simple UGS Power supply (rectifier/filtering + regulation).

The All Inclusive UGS includes the UGS modules PCB, and all PCBs needed. The regulations are on the motherboards.

Hello Everyone,

I'm coming back from vacations with the following news

- All the DIYAUDIO payments have been received, and finally transfered from paypal to my account after paypal's inquiries (Awful customer service !) Thanks again for your prompt reaction to the request of payment.

- I have payed the French responsible for the JFET order (SERJAC from HCFR), and he should get the transistors by the end of next week. Then should dispatch the DIYAUDIO ones to my address (insured mail....)

- I have transfered last week a 30% advance to the PCB manufacturer : they are producing the first "test" panels, that should be shipped to me by the end of the week. As soon as I will have recevied the test boards, I will make an inspection (+ photos for the forum) and give my "green light" for the production + payment of the last 70%

That's all for the moment,

Good News, I have received this morning the first PCB test panels.

I have inspected the board and have not found any major problem, so I have given the green light for the complete manufacturing, and have asked my bank to transfer the money to the PCB company.

The current schedule is a delivery at my home for the begining of April.

From the JFET side : Serjac has received them, the DIY ones should be on the way to my address.

I'll keep you informed.

PS : About the documentation: the "UGS adventure thread" should be the right place to start with, I'm sorry the overall doc is not in English, but I can't translate everything.
I really think it would be nice if one of you could open a new thread on DIY for the UGS populating and testing. I'm sure that some Frenchies could then help you for some specific points. I don't feel like opening it by myself as I still have the french support forum to deal with, and another GB to start....

I'm getting the JFETs this evening (they have already been delivered for the French DIYers by SERJAC).

The PCB manufacturing is ended, the shipment is on the way from czech republic to my home. I should get them in the beginning of next week.
I have supplied antistatic bags, foamed envelopes, and already printed labels for the shipment.

I'm as you : wainting for the delivery (now it's a question of day).

I'll keep you informed
