PC USB Oscilloscope

I also prefer a stand alone scope when debugging and not needing portability, I much
prefer it and have one on my bench.
It does not address automating audio tests.

What century was it made in? 😀 I haven't seen a piece of test equipment that couldn't handle automated testing in more than 20 years. If it's newer it'll have a USB or ethernet port, and if it's older it'll have GPIB. Either way, you can integrate it (and all your other gear) into an automated testing system.

When I do this professionally I usually use modern equipment, at home I have a 3 century old Tek 7704 scope, so no it does not have GPIB. My HP function generator, LDO, do not have it, and my meters do not have it.
 
Centuries in tech cycles but 3 decades in earth cycles. Still the fastest way to troubleshoot most problems. I use a 7854 that has a digitizer. Otherwise very similar. More flexibilty than any new scope with its plugins.

I haven't followed up but a odd limitation given today's silicon was very the small 16k? pt local memory for full speed capture

I watched the review, looks pretty good.
He got about .1% distortion in loop back at 1 MHz but he was not careful
to use all the bits.
The FR from the waveform gen looped back was plus about .1 dB at 100KHz
and -3dB at 10MHz. Don't like the bump but at least it is 5X 20 KHz.

They offer a dual BNC in and out adapter for $20.
The main issue is that there is only high and low gain in hardware,
but that is something one could DIY.

The rated 5 MHz bandwidth is at .1dB and there is a youtube video
showing a measured -3dB input bandwidth of just over 30 MHz.
There are not many samples at that frequency so the scope image
is not very good but 30 is impressive at this price point.
