can anyone recomend a program to download to test my loudspeakers frequeny response

soundeasy is designed and manufactured in melb., GREAT software, poor support, excellent features, about AUD$300 not cheap.

if you want to design many different types of speakers this is the s/w to get.

SUPPORT Aust. designed product.

I use the bought version of ARTA suite, both at home and for my measurement of PA speakers at work. These programs (ARTA, STEPS and LIMP) are remarkable value for money.

For quick pink noise measurements, I also have the 1/24th octave ($99) version of True-RTA. This is a useful program, but nothing like the bargain that is ARTA.

I've never been able to get that to work right for acoustic measurement and the vendor hasn't responded to my cries for help. Works great for amp measurements, though.

I have had some luck with audiotester doing speaker measurements, some odd results here and there I seem to recall, but I think Arta is far better for this.
