does anyone have any experience with pc based oscilloscopes....pico scope or?....are some better than others?...where is a good place to start?...I'm just looking for something somewhat general now to help with some audio circuits.

I havent tried it out seriously myself just started it and the GUI is certainly better than the old osc251.🙂 It got good reviews on the swedish DIY-forum were they have used it with tweaked cheap USB soundcards.

I would really like to find a good PC based scope myself. But I am cautious about buying something. I dont like the way the Fluke Scope meters work. It is too hard to see details in the traces. they dont quite seem to be realy time. but almost real time. Maybe it was just the model i worked with.
Some of the Tek DSO units have VGA outputs and those seem to be pretty good. but those are also $1K plus!
