first: my english is terrible, sorry about that.
because of your ironic answer i think you dont understand my problem.
i dont think that you can use 2 graphiccards on one computer!?
perhaps you mean a card with two outputs....
i try to explain again:
PC resolution: 1024x768
LCD Panel (not monitor) for projection: 640x480
how i can switch to correct resolution for the lcd + keeping the mainresolution on my PC.
if this is impossible: are there any programms which do that job automatic, without using the settings manually?
i hope you understand now..........

There are no programs that I know of to switch the res automatically to suit the display (I might be wrong however), but it sounds like you want Powerstipper. U don't have a link at the moment tho. Just search for powerstripper on google or even in this forum's search.
Yes, you can run 2 graphics cards on the one computer, as long as its a PC running windows 98 or later... Either 2 PCI cards, or 1 AGP and 1 PCI... I do it all the time.. 🙂 That way, you can drag the movie playing software window to the other screen (the projector) and then make it full screen.. 🙂 and, possible still be able to use the computer for other stuff (Although this might take the movie out of full screen...)

First of all, it's bad enough that most native English speakers don't really understand what irony means. But your way off (that's fine, just letting you know). The word your looking for is "sarcasim".
He was not being sarcastic at all. You can put a second video card in you PC if you have a slot for it, and you can enable dual-monitors w/ 2 cards just like you can with 1 card that has dual outputs.
But the thing is im german, not native speaking english !
Lifter you can more languages than your american english ?

Wow, you english really is bad... 🙄 But it will get better.. 🙂 Anyway, 2 graphics cards seem like the best way to go..
Eisriese,
don't worry, we know what you're talking about. You can also use dual displays with a Geforce 4 MX, if that's what you want to do. I'm not too sure if you can set each monitor to display a diff res.

With two graphics cards, I know for a fact that you can set them to display at different resolutions. I'm not sure about specific dual-display cards like the one your talking about, but if I had to guess I would say you could.

You shouldn't be so defensive. I was making fun of Americans, not you. BTW, your welcome for answering your question.
