I'm using the Proac 2.5 clones that I built some time ago. I love the sound. Very smooth and musical. I prefer listening to acoustic jazz and classical music. For that purpose they seem perfect.
I didn't hear them before I built them but took a chance. I don't regret. I found the drawings by luck: http://www.geocities.com/diyproac25/

This circuit is better for some opamps and not so useful for some. For the LM324 this circuit is VERY useful but on the other hand LM324 isn't so good for audio.jazzpeter65 said:Per,
You mentioned the circuit you have added to minimize the crossover distortion.
Is there any sonic differens with this?
If there is I will try it out. Yes, I have checked the LT1115 datasheet.
My tests so far don't indicate a huge difference but some people claim that.
Surf to http://head-fi.org They have much to say about this circuit.
