Hey, Paulspencer:
How do you like the Stryke/TC AV12 woofers in that big sealed box that you made the animation of? I am thinking of building a smaller box and I would probably need to go sealed. I have two 1400g PRs and a 3 cu. ft. box right now and the bass is already to my satisfaction but I was an idiot on the design and made the box exceptionally heavy, so it is nearly on the order of 90-110 lbs fully loaded. This would be fine except that I move in and out of a dorm room twice a year and I need something I'll be able to move around, and so I am thinking that a sealed box is the way I need to go. Material is mostly rock music but there are some movies. I have 500 Parts Express watts to power it with.

Sealed box + Ht isnt wise if your expecting high SPL.
Just model it in winisdpro + patch youl see excursion soar where HT will hit it with LFE.
Id just bite the bullet and go sealed in whatever form you can fit and be happy with the portability and music reproduction.
