Trying a homemade (not sure who built it) passive for CD play. Even when volume control is set to minimum I hear some sound from the CD player when it's playing. Unlike other passives I've tried, this one gets pretty loud early in the volume control rotation.
Amp:Rotel RB-1070 Impedance/Sensitivity, 1.0 V / 33 kOhms
CD Playback: Adcom GDA-600 Output Voltage/Impedance, 2.2 V RMS/77 ohms
Speakers: Klipsch Heresy II
On passive, the volume pot says "H.T." "A100K"
The top resistor in the pic: 4K7500 0.5%
The bottom resistor in the pic: VTA55 B9902 VISHAY
I don't like to hear any sound when the control is at minimum. Any suggestions to fix this, bearing in mind I'm not a very competent diy'er.
