passive i/v conversion with tda1545

hi all

how should i use the tda1545?

i tried passive i/v with 1.5kohm resistor from analog l/r output to "vref" but it didn't work.

"vref" is the middle point of a voltage divider with one 11kohm to iref pin and the other 11kohm wired to 5v. and there is a 0.47uf cap wired from "vref" to gnd.

i haven't tried active i/v yet but will do soon but what will be the suggested i/v resistors? thinking along the lines of 1kohm, 1.5kohm and 2kohm.

anyone tried the above?

Why to Vref and not to ground?

Btw, any info where to find TDA1545 (I assume it is A)?
