I was looking at the Khozmo offerings per your link. Looking at the preamps quite a few options. Any recommendations i.e. series, ladder, shunt, etc?
Sorry for the delayed response. Really ladder, shunt and series each have their benefits. I looked for a page which I believe used to be on Khozmo's website that described the three different types and their charactoristics. However, I couldn't find it.
If you click on each type, they have a short description of why to choose one VS the other.
I have the shunt type and it sounds pretty darned good. You could go into the weeds in regards to volume control and if it interest you, I would say go for it. Pass uses Muses volume control which is very nice. That is a bit more involved though.
