Hello,
Does anyone have any listening experience with Pass Labs amplification and Harbeth monitors? Any impressions would be welcome.
Regards,
Mike

I heard my F5 with a buddy's pair of the LS3/5a-type Harbeths, the P3ESR. Very, very nice combo. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Thanks for the impressions. It makes sense putting the two together with class A power into those smooth and silky mids I keep hearing so much about.
What would be some PL amps that would work well with the Harbeths?
Regards,
Mike

Honestly, any of them.
What does your system currently consist of? (Mainly interested in Preamp and speaker)
Are you new to DIY? Do you have electronics-making stuff? Solder iron, Multimeter, basic hand tools, etc...?

Hello,
I sold all my gear when I moved my company from Tucson to Phoenix. I had Cello front end and B+W loudspeakers.
I have decided on the Harbeths, but I am still looking for power. No time to assemble anything at moment. I need something ready to go.
Regards,
Mike

I use Harbeth P3ESRs and they are great for stress free listening with superb soundstage. I have a pair of Aleph 0 Monos which work really well with these little monitors and a Thomas Mayer 46SE which does the same but differently. I had the Alephs re-capped last year and this made a considerable improvement to these 1996 vintage amps.
