I would much appreciate a copy of the D1 manual if someone could email it to me, thank you.

I am looking for a Pass Labs D1 service manual, too.
I am not building but getting one of the originals, a PCM63 version, and I am quite curios about D1's volume control solution. And, given its age, I will most likely need to change a few caps (my new heater is recapped (that would be Aleph 4)).
Also I am wondering if I need a preamp between D1 and Aleph 4; probably not.
And I'll need USB to SPDIF; probably "Audiophilleo".
And there is one _very_ neat CEC TL1X in Île-de-France...

The volume control is a bit different it shorts out the two phases to reduce the volume. It works well though.
