Did you build the D1?

I only built the I/V stage and connected it to a pcm1798. I haven't had time to redo it with a better dac, but that is on my list and I plan to try to use jfets instead of irf610.

About .1S or so. This is the equivalent of about 10 ohms.

What would you think of scaling the positive rail and the I/V resistor for some 15-20volts and drive a F4 directly ?

Possible slewrate problems ?

IRF610 Alternative?

Hi Guys,

I'm currently building a DAC and would like to try the D1.. but it seems i cant find the IRF610 locally unless i order them online.. Im hoping i can use alternatives.. Which to do you will be best the substitute:

IRF530
IRF640
IRF740
IRF830
IRF840

among the fets above which do you think, is my best choice for the D1?
