Don't believe KEF when they say its a nominal 8 ohm load. Its 4ohms.

As with all small, low impedance, inefficient speakers (you can't have it all) throw lots of very high quality watts at them and they will shine. I have 100w class AB. They sounded absolutely flat as a pancake with 30 watts of EL34 strapped triode. Can't advise on Pass model suitability though.

Depends on how loud and hoe big a room.
I have R700 (3 ways) based on the same drivers with a 50W Pass F5 turbo. They work fine. I have heard LS50 in a small room with a 100W A/B amp. It was fine but the LS50s don't sound "big" and they don't like getting real loud. But they sound excellent. Great imaging and detail and lifelike tonality. One of my favorite speakers I've heard.

If you don't listen at loud levels any of these amps would be suitable:

If you are looking to buy rather than build the XA30.8 does 30Watts Class A but then transitions to AB all the way to 100Watts.
XA25 is another possibility depending how loud you listen to music.
